Land Rover Freelander Gearbox Repair

Stephens Engineering recently carried out a Land Rover Freelander gearbox repair.

The Freelander was brought into the Stephens Engineering workshop with a complaint that the automatic gear shift changes had become very jerky. A full diagnostic scan of the control unit was undertaken in the workshop. The gearbox diagnostic scan revealed a fault with one of the automatic transmission solenoids. The faulty solenoid was replaced and at the customer’s request, additional work was also carried out to the Freelander’s cooling system and exhaust.
